MALLORY KALAJIAN

Development Coordinator / Teacher

Mallory began her dance training at North Atlanta Dance Academy at the age of five, studying ballet, pointe, character, jazz, and contemporary. She was a member of the North Atlanta Dance Theatre Company for six years and performed in many productions annually. She continued to nurture her love of performing through studying acting and the violin, and in 2011, she studied theatre at the Open Jar Institute in New York City.

Mallory attended Kennesaw State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a major in public relations and a minor in dance. While in college, she was a member of the KSU Dance Company, and in 2012 she became a member of the NADA faculty teaching jazz. Mallory has since expanded her artistic career in many ways. She professionally choreographed four full-length musicals for Alpharetta High School and Dunwoody High School, and she has performed as a Resident Artist with NADT. She practices professional makeup artistry and taught the Sephora University Beauty Classes during part of her four-year tenure as a Certified Makeup Artist.

Currently Mallory is a recruiter for an Atlanta area recruiting firm. She is also excited to take on the role of Development Coordinator for North Atlanta Dance Theatre, furthering community engagement and internal communication for the company. She would like to thank Michael and Kitty for creating a home away from home, and inspiring her artistic journey.
